Major Patient Criteria

Age 18 years or older

Moderate to severe obstructive sleep apnea

Failure, intolerance, or refusal of CPAP therapy

Body Mass Index (BMI) < 32 kg/M2

No complete concentric collapse on sleep endoscopy exam (warning not contraindication)

As with any surgical procedure there are risks associated with the device, implantation, and use.  Potential risk and benefits of therapy must be discussed with their physician to determine if this treatment is appropriate
